Almond meal, Rapadura sugar, Cocoa, Chia seeds, Baking soda and Himalayan salt

1/2 cup coconut or olive oil (melted)
4 eggs
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup maple syrup

Note: For those who do not like this cake to be sweet, we recommend putting in 1/2 water and remove the maple syrup.

Tastes like regular cake mix, in a good way

For a coeliac who's totally grain free, this mix tastes like the 'real thing'. I made it as directed, without icing, and it was really tasty, even days later. I'm sure it would still be good without the maple syrup. This is the leading contender for my next birthday cake 🎂

This cake is absolutely delicious!
The perfect combo. Love the chocolate with the chia seeds and my daughter loves it even more.
So great for lunchboxes too as you don’t need to ice it to make the kids eat it.
Definitely our family favourite.
